The Hospitals of Hope, Bolivia medical complex is located twenty minutes west of Cochabamba in the community of Vinto. Our 32-bed, level II hospital, is one of the best in the city, and we offer this quality care at little to no cost.
Our 65-person staff, composed primarily of Bolivians, sees approximately 900 patients per month. Volunteers work with the hospital staff, in addition to doing outreaches into the community.
The hospital has central oxygen, air, and vacuum to all patient beds except the semi-private and private rooms. Hospitals of Hope has the only organized EMS system that covers the west side of Cochabamba, with three ambulances in the network. We have recently implemented Angel Eyes, a remote patient monitoring system, at our hospital.
