To estimate the cost of your trip, please consider the following expenses:

Application Fee - $ 125

International Airfare - $ 900-1200

Domestic Flights - $ 120

Food/Lodging/Transportation - $ 40/day

The $ 40 per day fee is pro-rated and is based on the actual cost of operating the guesthouse annually. The fee helps to cover food, housing, guesthouse host and transportation costs that are incurred by volunteers during their stay at Hospitals of Hope, Bolivia. During the summer months the HOH, Bolivia guesthouse has many volunteers though the other months we have only a few or none. Never the less, to maintain the guesthouse and services provided to the volunteers, we must charge enough to cover the operating cost 365 days a year.

In addition, any excess from the fees charged to volunteers helps to defray the costs of operating Hospitals of Hope, Bolivia during the year. Meaning the excess funds go to support the doctors, nurses and staff at the hospital that assist in your training while at HOH, Bolivia.
